This talk will answer questions for parents, teachers, and adults who have wondered about neurodivergence beyond the buzz on social media. Pete and Kim will share their insights from the classroom and their lived experience.

Session Two:

School & Beyond: Supporting Dyslexic & Neurodivergent Girls’ Next Moves

This talk explores Helen Ross’s research on dyslexia and inclusive education for young women aged 16–25, highlighting how girls are often overlooked and face challenges during transitions into further study or employment. It outlines her Churchill Fellowship project, School and Beyond, which draws on international perspectives to improve transition support and invites insights from young people, families, educators and employers.
