Vale Trevor Williams

5th Oct 1941 - 9th April 2025

Trevor passed in the early hours of 9th April 2025. There was a memorial celebration at Radius on 19th of April. The memories and stories shared on the day were so rich and captured his essence beautifully. The whole day made our hearts sing out loud, we did him proud folks!

Of course it takes a village, and the village was there from near and far… Blocking Main Rd and holding up some cops was really the icing on the cake… the image of Trev in an old Chev doing a last lap of honour in Hepburn will stay with us all forever.

Beatnik, Hippy, SteamPunk, Eccentric, Radical, Alternative, Crazy Old Bugga, that’s just a few of the many words used to describe Trevor over the years. I don’t think anyone ever said he was boring! To be in the presence of Trev meant you might be challenged, made to dive deeper, take risks, question things of the mind or even brainstorm a million of his creative ideas together. He loved to challenge himself and others around him. His desire to take risks and be subversive was a life long passion. If you were one of these people too, then he would actively seek you out.

Everyone who knew Trev eventually got to share his musical tastes which was just as wild and varied as he was. Below is a link to a play list of some of his favourite tracks & bands. Join us by listening to some with your fave tipple. In recent years he was quite partial to a cup of tea with a dash of rum if you’re feeling brave! Or a shot glass of musket or port….
