Heartfelt thank-you to all the artists who entered the annual Swiss Italian Landscape Exhibition 2025. As always there was such a huge diversity of work and styles making the job of judging that much harder! Also thanks to sponsor's and everyone who came along… and the winners were:

The Judges
Judging was done ‘blind’ with all names and labels removed. Our 2024 Judges were Prof Carole Wilson and Dr Lauren Matthews from Federation University Arts Academy, they made the following comments:

“We were impressed with the overall quality of the work and there were a number of strong contenders for the winning prize. The winning work conveyed a sense of the wintry landscape of the region, capturing what the Swiss Italian community would have encountered when they first arrived. It’s delicate but rugged.

Second prize, the aerial view, reference to how the historical maps fade into the changing landscape. The use of colour and materials added to the work. It was sensitive but striking.

The highly commended works stood out for their innovative use of materials and interpretation of landscape.“

About The Exhibition

11th Oct until 1st November 2025  

The Swiss Italian Festa Landscape Art Show has been a long running exhibition within the Hepburn Shire.  For over 20 years painters have submitted works for the annual exhibition which has been held in various locations.  The Landscape Exhibition was a huge hit in 2024 and is back for 2025.  We again have a prizes and an official opening during the middle of the Festa.  There is also a Radius Encouragement Prize plus a People’s Choice Award so everyone can get involved, make sure you vote when you visit the show!  

This year we inviteded artists of ALL mediums to submit their work to the show.  Be it painting, drawing, etching, sculpture, photography or digital mediums.
